Labor & Birth Support

Postpartum & Lactation  Support

Once you retain me as your Birth Doula, I will be available via text, phone, or email for emotional and education support, questions or concerns, and for you to provide me with any updates regarding your pregnancy. Once you are  38 weeks pregnant, I will be on call until the end of your pregnancy and remain within the metro Atlanta area to be available when needed. If you live outside of the metro Atlanta area we will communicate to determine my arrival.

Hiring me as your birth professional, I will provide you with least 2-3 prenatal visits for 1-2 hours or whatever you desire that will be conducted in your home for your comfort. We will thoroughly discuss your birth desires and plans for your birth journey, practice comfort techniques, childbirth options, and  educate you and your partner with any questions and concerns that will guide you to assist at any time if needed during your pregnancy.

Early labor usually takes place at home and then moves to the place of birth. During your labor I will join you at your home, hospital, or birth center once you are in active labor and ready for labor and birth support. I will also come to you when you feel you need additional support and will stay with you and your partner until after the birth of your baby.

After you give birth, I will remain with you during your baby first feeding whether it's breast or bottle. For your postpartum support, I will visit once within the first 1-6 weeks after birth to follow up to review your birth experience and answer any questions about recovery, baby care, or feeding. If necessary, I will provide referrals in your community for additional support. Text and phone support will still be available for up to 6 weeks postpartum.
